PLi facilitates a rigorous and structured strategic planning process that centres on the essential questions for each school to address:

Who are you and who are you not?

What will you do and what won’t you do to achieve your next strategic goals?

We understand how vital it is for the strategic plan facilitator to listen carefully to the experience and expertise of those important voices within the School community - to find the north star of each strategic plan. Our goal is to weave together these different viewpoints and high quality data into a coherent framework that the school community can understand and believe in.

In the coming years, schools that design and implement innovative and disciplined strategic plans will respond better to challenges and ensure their visions for a bright future are realised. They will become industry leaders, maximising their talent, resources and budgets by investing in cost effective, targeted and sustainable programs designed to raise teaching standards and improve student outcomes.

STRATEGIC PLANNING MODEL

Our strategic planning model is segmented into four phases:

  • The Planning Phase involves partnering with the Principal, Leadership Team and School Board to define the High Line Visions and framework for the project and agree on the process to be implemented.

  • The Discovery Phase will generate insights into the unique context of the school and define what hard data can be used to augment these ideas.

  • The Development Phase will provide a review of the research, shaping the vision into goals and objectives. Ongoing consultation with the Board, Principal and leadership team is paramount to achieving the best outcomes.

  • The Review Phase will address the question: Is that all we imagined?

The Strategic Planning process was seamless and exciting. PLi led the community through the discovery and exploring stages to the planning and final stages - all with ease and authority. They were able to listen for the nuances and see the hidden gems. Greatly appreciative of the path PLi helped illuminate.
